Director

Bevan graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canterbury in 1980 and was admitted to the Bar the same year.  

 

He has been a partner in several law firms over the last 40 years, all in Christchurch.

 

With a diverse and large client base, Bevan is widely experienced in general practice, including property, commercial, estate administration, trusts, subdivisions, relationship property and private client work.

Daniel obtained a double degree in History and Law from Canterbury University before his admission to the Bar in 1998. 

 

Following his admission, Daniel initially practised criminal and immigration law in Christchurch until moving to Wellington in 2001 to train as an Intelligence Officer for the NZSIS. 

 

After six years working in government, in 2007 he returned to private practice gaining significant experience in commercial, property and private client matters. 

 

With a diverse client base, Daniel provides advice to property developers, commercial landlords and tenants, small to medium business owners and those looking to buy their first home.

Outside of work, Daniel holds a 4th dan black belt in Karate and is a keen surfer.

Nikki has been practicing law since 2018. Prior to entering law she had a long-standing career in the public service in NZ and Australia. 

 

Nikki specialises in all aspects of commercial and property law.  She has a special interest in large and small-scale subdivisions and property development. 

 

Also experienced in relationship property, estate administration and disputes resolution.  Nikki prides herself in providing sound practical advice and ensuring the best possible outcome for her clients is always a priority.

Peter was first admitted as a solicitor in 1964, but is still practicing as a full-time consultant to Beker Stone, he is involved principally in Estate Administration, Wills & Trusts, and his wise counsel is a great asset to the firm. 

Peter has been a partner or principal of a number of legal firms in Christchurch since 1967 and still retains a substantial client base. ​Has has considerable experience in both commercial and residential property transactions and has acted for a number of large property developments during his long career.

Peter's interests outside the law include thoroughbred horse racing as a breeder, owner and being a 40+ year member of the Board and Honorary Life Member of the Canterbury Jockey Club . He is also a loyal Crusaders fan and has a home games' season ticket with his friends.
